24Hour Television Charity Committee (24HTV) is a Japanese donor organization executing the project since 1989 in Nepal.

Nippon Television Network Corporation, based in Japan, has started telethon charity program, titled "24Hour Television" in 1978, since then, this program has been broadcasting in every August. Through this program, the fund is collected as donation from the sympathized TV viewers which is used for socially underprivile-ged people, victims of war and natural disasters in the world.

Initially formed committee and it promoted to charity act for domestic handicapped, aged and victims of natural disaster. Simultaneously, overseas-aid program has been started in Asian and African countries in 1980 and opened office in Ethiopia, Philippines, Cambodia and Nepal.

Association for Ophthalmic Cooperation to Asia (AOCA) is one of Japanese donor NGO of this project. AOCA is a non-government organiza-tion offering the ophthalmic services to Asian countries, mainly to Nepal, since 1972. Since 1989, AOCA and 24HTV have been jointly operating Narayani Eye Care Project in Nepal.

OA Dispatched for Training: An OA, Mr. R.C. Paswan has sent for training in Madurai, India for 3 months.see more

Project Evaluation Ongoing: Social Welfare Council (SWC) has assigned a team for project evaluation. The overall objectives of the evaluation is to assess the program achievement and to propose a plan for the future direction of the program, with special emphasis on long-term sustainability of the programs. see more

Construction Works About to Complete:
The construction of Office building extension and roof and link repair work of the general ward building will be completed soon. See more
